Each crochet master has "the best way" for this weary work. Today I wish to share my little secret.
When I make a narrow piece (finger, arm, leg, tail : I prefer a mercerized cotton thread, so my such details are really narrow), I use a bead of suitable size.
In the process I add the filler below the bead. And I put the bead on top again. The bead also prevents getting out the filler fibers from the part.
But you have to hold the detail putting your fingers exactly upon the bead!
